This post is direct for use of NEW WEAPON,Over the years that I have been playing Comanche4,there has been a need for a new Comanche4 game or some type of update,But over the years the Company of Novalogic has been down sizing,In there man power and even with a petition (which we all thank you Rotor )for a new Comanche4 game.Now as I have been reading and trying too keep up on current events with Comanche4,I have come up with some of my own ways for Novalogic to improve on Comanche4 if it is not possible to make a new Comanche4 game at least and update and the only place that I can see too where they can improve is on there weapons load out.(you must learn to walk before you can run).
Now here is quotes from some well knowen pliot.First Reaper(please read where it says C4 multi player,with altered weapons) :
This mod is a complete re-build of C4 multi player, with altered weapon settings, new buildings, objects and around 45 new environments. The environments cover a wide range of time and place, every thing from typical day, dusk, dawn with some set for snow. Included are night evns with stars the darkness set at varous darkness levels, none are so dark you can not see where your flying. The night/heat vision I made before have been adjusted with second versions created to be lighter with new skys. Have also created more versions of northern lights for new rainbow effects.
Some maps will have thunder and lightning.
There are some custom space evns for the space maps.
If all goes well even search and destroy will have red/blue color blinking targets.
Fog for all maps is set at 2000 metters, you can not remove all fog or there is an ugly line in the horizen, the game all so uses fog to reduce rendering items at a distance to help game performance.
Once I have all the models completed and tested, test search and destroy, I will post compete information and put out the mod web site url so you can see what is coming.
How ever I am still a few months away before a beta will be ready for release, there is alot of work and it takes time to complete it.
Now if you all read on more in this matter you will see that Iam only promoting for change and unfortunately there are those who only see this as a cheat as for me I don't.And now I am going to aply some rules when you are using altered weapons:
You must announce that you are packing HEAVY,then you must load in the way that the helo can carry (just like in the real world).And if asked to switch back to normal load out,you MUST switch back,unless all other players are in agreement.
You can use 30mm connons at 500 rounds.
You can load 28 sidewinder or 28 stingers Not 56 stingers if you are caught you will be kicked off the server.
You can load 12 sidewinders and 16 stingers or 12 stingers and 16 sidewinders.
I think with these rules it will add to the FUN of C4 and for those who don't want to follow these rules don't come in.Now to give my thoughts on to new pilots in order too be able to have such weapons they need to earn our trust.For those who we know (Now they may have already and then again they may not)and are knowen to have commonscence lets fly....
So for boycott on this,there is a good chance that you'll be missing out on fun but if this goes agaist your principles,boycott you must.You'll still have my respect and it will alway be an hounor to fly with you or agaist you.
Before I forget I do agree with POST 5-7-10 of Reaper's,who is a person that I call a fair man he looks at thing with common sence no fast jugements....

The problem with C4 and the way it was released when it comes to weapon settings and other game functions:
Some players down right change game files with the intent to cheat, Many players would not have an issue with a player who ran with 28 side winders or a mix of sidewinders and stingers in that weapons type load out.
Similar weapons, just a mix to give players more choice in how they set up the weapons load out.
But the problem is the players that come in with the intent to cheat, those sidewinders or stingers turn into 800 and the players can fly thru the terrain and solid objects. When you play with them you are lit up like a neon light. They turn the fog off and make other changes to the game I wont go into. The fact that players can cheat and may not get caught adds to the distrust of other players. Once you add in the odd game and network errors that can happen when a player is not cheating makes the problem worse.
The way players can exploit the game is passed by word of mouth. The fact there is no real cheat protection gives players that want to play stock no choice but to lock the server and play with a limited number of players.
Players choose diff ways of dealing with these issues most leave the game and just won't play anymore.
Others play open servers and live with the cheats untill they get mad enough they stop playing or join the crowd and say any thing goes, if every one else is going to cheat then I will to, just to make it even.
Some lock the server and only play with others they trust, hoping the players they trust are honest.
Some players stay away from multiplay all together, they create new game content, play with it and because they don't think the community is honest does not share what they create.
Or they share what they create, but will not play with the rest of you. I fall into the last type.
There were personal and internet attacks on one of the guys who could code and did so to help stop cheating in C4, That player left the community and no longer is here to give you many of the game assets he created. The community as a whole lost out big time and doesn't even know it.
This game engine was updated and Nova built other games after C4, Those games have some really cool affects such as real time weather effects including rain and snow, coop missions where the creater can use text and sound to communicate with the players much better than C4 does. Time of day rotation where the map evn changes as you play the mission, it may start at 3 in the morning so dark you can hardly see and end at 10 am with the sun and the evn making the rotation so it seems like the mission played in real time. So yes there is some things that Nova could put in an updated C4 that would make this game 10 times better.
Anti cheat is one of the things that makes or breaks games, most players want to know the other player who kill them did so with out cheating, This is one of the areas Nova has failed and a large number former Nova players have moved to other games where the company provides anti cheat players think works.
Those of you that do not play other Nova games just do not know how cheating and lack of support has effected all of Nova game not just C4. You may not even have a C4 lobby in the near future. With out it C4 will come to an end.
Bottom line:
There are some things that can be done to combat some of the cheating, But for the most part cheats find a way around it. Many of the ways players cheat the average player is not aware of.
Everyone is suspect you don't know what any one else does to their game or what they are running, you don't have access to their computer. History proves some squad members have cheated for years in the past and other members of the squad did not know.
They are always players that make exuses for exploiting the game, Like it or not, it is still cheating, and some players do not want to play with you, they also do not think it is fair when you pass the exploits on to other players, then say it's out in the open now so it's not a cheat, the rest can use it to.
