They were smart enough to send Revira back to Afghanestan...
Besides, I just LOVE to watch Ollie North's news reports from his embedded position with the First Marine Expedition forces... He looks pretty darn good for an old fart, and he tells it like it is!

He sits down to be interviewed on Baghdad TV by someone dressed in an Iraqi military uniform and mumbles something about a "misjudgment?"
Arnett then earnestly speaks of how the U.S. war plan has "failed" because of Iraqi resistance, and easily segues into how his reports about civilian casualties in Iraq helps those who oppose the war, AND will also help to undermine the president, and says that too was a "misjudgment?"
Peter Arnett is an idiot.
He's an idiot for having betrayed not only his colleagues and his profession, but his country.
And he's even more of an idiot if he thinks anyone's going to buy that what he did can be chalked up merely as "misjudgment."
Peter Arnett has now succeeded in further fueling questions of journalistic integrity and fairness.
At some level, people will be left wondering if news reports they see, hear or read are accurate and balanced, or if the reporter is pulling an "Arnett."
I don't accept "misjudgment" as an explanation from Peter Arnett.
I think his remarks were carefully calculated to gain him favor in Iraqi leadership circles, perhaps allowing him greater access to people and places within that country.
What Peter Arnett said and did got him exactly what he deserved: fired and disgraced.
