What’s the deal with SYSDUMP.TXT in Task Force Dagger editor?

It seems when ever I add to many building to a map (Around eight or nine in a group, simulating an urban scene) I get the sysdump.txt error, which is really frustrating because I haven’t even got to the point of adding any action items to the map yet. I noticed that with TFD you seem to be very limited as to how much stuff you could put on your map at one time. Is anyone else experiencing this and what are you doing about it?
Please don’t even say its memory because I have DDR Ram and there’s no possible way its taking up all that memory just adding a few buildings. Obviously its something Nova’s aware of because its creates the sysdump.txt file which just leads me to believe instead of fixing the problem they decided to have it error.

what's causing the error, the editor or the game?

sysdump.txt has been with us forever. its a log file that's created when the game crashes. supposedly you are to send this file to nova for help .... LOL (like they would ever respond with anything helpful)

there are items that cause problems, or using too many items can cause it also, but that doesn't sound like the case. i'll see if i can gather a list of "don't use" items, and if you want, send me the mis & i'll look at it.

Anthony, thanks for the information cause now it makes some sense. I'm gathering its the type item (building) I use and not necessarily the amount of items I'm using. Think I’ll experiment a little and see what happens.

I have noticed the fog factor and its true that mixing certain buildings and/or items causes problems. My gripes with people who design multiplayer coop missions who have tango's set to a waypoint. Lag issues just casue the tango to sky across the screen..any thought on this?

are ya sure the tango's are set to wpl sound's to me more like free roaming tango's . ive never seen tango move across sky but have seen them bounceing when they move around and they dont seem to die easy either .

Opps...**** spell checker, not "sky" I meant ski...hehehe. (Guess I should start proof reading my own post huh) They ski across the terrain and I'm almost positive they are set to a waypoint cause I have seen free roamers who actually walk or run some in games..the game in question is one designed by someone I know and I have mentioned this factor to them. Seen it in others as well. Of course its not the designers fault, just the way the game plays out.
