Thank You
First of all, I would like to thank the folks that developed and maintain this web site and the many great forum members.
Thanks to you, I can now use the Comanche 4 mission editor.
I have been playing Comanche since the first version was released. I don't remember when that was, but I do remember playing the game on an old 386.
Because of an illness in my immediate family, I cannot devote as much time as I would like to, but it is great to be able to use the mission editor and climb into the cockpit every now and then.
I have two brief questions. I have seen the thread on the C4 expansion module.
Are independant programmers who love the game doing this? Or is this a Novalogic expansion.
Also can the missions that come with C4 be modified using Pappy's mission editor or must you open up the PFF files?
If it can be done, how do you go about it?
I have one mission that I would like to post in about a week after I give it a final tune.
Thanks again for all your great work.
Best wishes,
Brent

Glad to have you abord brent.
First of all the Expansion pack is not an exclusive Nova prodcution but the dedicated work of some talented C4 players who are tring to enhance the game.
It's true that you would have to extract the missions from the pff file.
If your interested in recieving an e-mail explaining the process I would be happy to send it to you.
You can either U2U me with your address or send your e-mail to me at:
charger@checkpointdelta.net
Thanks for your interest in our site and hope to hear more from you.

Hi Charger,
I have played many of your missions and they are very good. I appreciate your help with the PFF files.
My e-mail address is: ericksonb@charter.net
I sent you a U2U message but I am still learning how to use the forum and was not sure that I sent it correctly.
Many thanks,
Brent

I forwarded you an e-mail that Bluetiereign put together for someone else with the same question so please thank him when you get a chance. Hope this helps and can't wait for the release of your mission. We'll be looking for it when it's done.
