if you are referring to the lobby link on this site, it is because of the log-in.
the df series does not require a log-in to view the lobby pages.
i expect that "black hawk down" will require the same type of log-in

If you want a place to talk and chat about Comanche - I suggest IRC.
It's more reliable than most game lobbies, and I'll give any regular chat user operator/moderator status.
It's permanent and part of a large chat network ran on servers across the globe.
