Comanche 4 on Windows 7

Hi I'm new here but I heard some awesome things about Checkpointdelta. I can't repeat any of it but I think it was good. Anyway, I was going through my old games the other day and found my Comanche 4 disk. I blew off the dust and placed it in my drive and prepared to install it but it came up with some message about, yada yada your version of windows is not compatible with yada yada.

Ok so long story short. Some one once sent me a message on how they got C4 to install with Windows 7 and I lost/deleted that said message. I was wondering if any of you kind folk could direct me in the direction on how maybe I could get said game to play on windows 7. I'd sure like to try it out again and see if it's still as cool as it once was...

Sorry for the slow reply. Have been in the middle of moving my computer room, and have been to only 2 websites all week. I'll look it up, but I haven't installed C4 in years because I keep a zipped file of a new install. Give me a couple of days bud. Being as I've known you forever, I'll probably send you the zip.

Unbelievable that I happen to try to install C4 tonight, just for the heck of it and it actually installed. Haven't played much of it and still trying to figure out getting joystick to work...again. Boy is this a crappy stick figure looking type game now. (lol) Anyway, for old time sake I'm giving it a try.
