I buit one a few months ago. Its a very inexpensive alternative to Track IR.
Only thing was I felt absolutly ridiculous wearing it.

My son built one a few weeks ago but I'm not sure if he actually got it working properly. I bought a cheap webcam yesterday and plan to hit Radioshack for the other parts this week. I'm anxious to build this thing since I love to fly SimX and it would be a great addition to the "realism" of the sim. I just bought X-Plane and hope to use it with that as well. Oh well I'll let you know how it goes when ever I can get down to putting it together...
