Stage 2 for a new C4

There has been enough time for every one to post the petition at Nova
time to message the people at nova.
Just send a simple message you signed the petition and you want to make sure Nova knows it'a there.

I will copy the thread and mail it to nova next week.

Hey Reaper, the links you gave here appears to go to no where significant.

At least they are answering, That's good news. I think we made our point, NOVA can see there is a market for an updated game. There is a good chance we will get something down the road.

Un-till then I am in the middle of a major project for C4, something the C4 community has not seen before. More information will be released around the end of the month.

WoooHooo New maps? Awesome... Can you remove the fog.. make them all no-fog & daylight? That would solve a lot of issues with getting (continually) shot from another zip code, when its so foggy you can't see your team mates 100 feet away, or so dark you cannot see 500 feet in front. It would take the advantage away from the TD users and kill the no-fog hack. Maybe add some thunder and lightning?

This mod is a complete re-build of C4 multi player, with altered weapon settings, new buildings, objects and around 45 new environments. The environments cover a wide range of time and place, every thing from typical day, dusk, dawn with some set for snow. Included are night evns with stars the darkness set at varous darkness levels, none are so dark you can not see where your flying. The night/heat vision I made before have been adjusted with second versions created to be lighter with new skys. Have also created more versions of northern lights for new rainbow effects.

Some maps will have thunder and lightning.

There are some custom space evns for the space maps.

If all goes well even search and destroy will have red/blue color blinking targets.

Fog for all maps is set at 2000 metters, you can not remove all fog or there is an ugly line in the horizen, the game all so uses fog to reduce rendering items at a distance to help game performance.

Once I have all the models completed and tested, test search and destroy, I will post compete information and put out the mod web site url so you can see what is coming.

How ever I am still a few months away before a beta will be ready for release, there is alot of work and it takes time to complete it.

I Dont know how to do it but having this horizon line is something to do with the way you save the map (i think)

It was a pet hate for Knuckels (he would know more) none of his maps had this ugly horizon ark (if im right in thinking that what it is)

Is this like a colour less ark on the horizon?

Yes that's what you get with no fog. All .evn files have fog in the settings the reason map makers would have that render was nova messed up the bin file and when the map maker picked a evn it didn't render.

so for years we used a fog color setting to hide it. It could be fixed with a corrected bin file.
