Remembrance Day , remember our vets and show your support

    [FONT="Times New Roman"][In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the dead. Short days ago
We lived, saw dawn, felt sunset glow,
Loved, and were loved, and now we lie
    In Flanders fields.

Take up your quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
    In Flanders fields.

For those of us who wore the uniform , thank you from me to all of you,

For those who didn't, just think what kind of a world we could be living in if people weren't willing to fight , die and protect the Freedom that millions enjoy.

So take 2 minutes today, and give thanks, to the thousands who gave the ultimate sacrifice .

Re: Remembrance Day , remember our vets and show your support

I have a link, (below) that is a 2 min music vidio that this guy wrote for remembrance day, or I think the US calls it veterans day link works, the song is called, "A pitance of time" by "Terry Kelly" from the east coast of Canada:

This is dedicated to all those here who have already served their country, both Canada and US, and those still serving, and most especially our brothers and sisters in arms who didn't make it back,

my heart is playing an outlawed tune for all as I remember the sacrifices made by so many.

This song.... it fills my chest with both saddness and pride.
