    AI State

    I just wanted to ask if any one fount out how the AI STATE Return to Base or Formation works.

    I know its been a wail sence I ask so I thought I would ask again

    I've tried to figure it out but came to the conclusion that theres no way to set a "BASE" marker. If you can set up the event for the chopper to "Return To Base", the thing is theres no base to return to. Where is the base and how do you set a marker, (which marker?) or item to represent the base?

    I set up an MP Base marker with a trigger to send the chopper basck to "Base" but it just sits and does nothing. Goodluck.

    Ok, in the med that I have, the only marker that I have is a MP Waypoint (Blue Base)

    is that what your talking about. I don't see a RTB marker. I do know that from what I fount out that the option changes the AI attr's from destroyable to indistructable.

    if you look at the *.mis file in notepad. you will see the text code for it

    0 3 4 2 -1 -1 28 0

    I know what the first 4 numbers refer too. I just don't know what the last for numbers are for. I have reason to beleave that one of theses numbers sends it to a area trigger or telport target or some thing.

    Now as you can see the number 28. This number has to refer to some thing. any way I'm still playing with it.

    I'll let every one know what I find out

    What I beleave is that the option to tell it where to go was left out of the MED. so I don't think that the MED's we have are not all "Unlocked". That why theres no option in the med to add a "dialog".

    Ok, Charger I completed my testing, and I only fount it to work only one way.

    I put it on line just in case any one else wanted to take a look at it.

    See what happens is that it doesn't go back to base. it thinks it's all ready there. Get the idea

    thats why the helio is indistructable. I know I spelled that wrong.

    The chopper flies out and Vaporizies

    That chopper is gone.
