    Counting the times

How can I count how many times a chopper has passed.

    sample.

lets say I wanted a blackhawk to circle a field or base or what ever.
3 times before it comes in. how or can I do that. I been playing with some ideas and nothing works

    and also

    setting CampVars

Does any one know how theses things work

and how do I get rid of the fog. every map I made has fog. How do I make a map with NO FOG

I think you should be able to do this by setting up a closed waypoint - in a somewhat circle around the field. Figure out how many times you want the chopper to circle then set an event to make it follow another different waypoint to land. You can either set the event for a time limit or maybe trigger it by something happening on the ground. There is a "Delay" feature for events - figure out how many seconds equal the amount of time you want it to go around.

So in actuality you would have three separate waypoints - one the chopper follows in to the landing area - the second one it will follow around the field and the third one would be the landing sequence waypoint.

    and also

I don't believe the CampVars work but I could be wrong I've never used them.

Go into "General Information" "Mission Overrides" to the lower right of the menu and set "Fog Distance" to about 1700. Experiment.

I was hoping that I wouldn't have to make 3 WP's for that. I was hoping to use CampVers and area triggers. When the chopper triiger the area trigger. to set a Campvar. then when it triggers it a again. then it set another CampVar. theres just not any way to reset the area trigger so that the chopper and set a new Campvar. If you get my Idea.

Ok, Yes they do work. There to options, 0 and one (1). 0 = off and 1 = on
It took me some hours to play with it. they work.

Go into "General Information" "Mission Overrides" to the lower right of the menu and set "Fog Distance" to about 1700. Experiment.
I tryied that and when I played the map the fog was still there. I set the fog distance as far as 5000 and I could still see it.

I just want to make it go a way.

    Thanks

    Re: Counting the times

I have fog set to 1700 and there is no fog what so ever...but much like the rest of your posts you'll probably figure it out all by yourself.

    Re: Counting the times

You mite be right charge. I fount out how to get a chopper to fly a round a field 3 times be for coming in for a landing. I think the bigest problem I have is my graphics card. Its not 3d. and the one one I have is very low on memory. I only have 256megs of ram on a windows XP OS. So I know thats all ways been a problem.

    Thanks Charger
