How to add items from BHD.
Make your item for BHD - then use the tutorial to make the item for C4. A good place for modding questions (modeling, skinning, etc..) would have been Mod Depot - but it seems another MOD was stolen - and they have shut their doors in protest.
The literature to learn to do anything is readily available Joe... you just can't get it all by asking in forums. You need to download the MOD tools, download the free version of a modeling program, study the tutorials and movies... and just dive in. It takes time, but it can be done. I am proof. I am an idiot, and I got it done.
Ok, thats cool. I just don't know where to go. and what to get. and I don't have BHD, does that matter. and what tools. what manuals should I have. These questions I don't know. the only way to find out to to ask in forums area.

You will need GMax (Free), 3dsMax($3,000.00), or Milkshape ($25.00) to make the Models for the BHD Tools. There are tons of tutorials for using all three of these. Google them to search for downloads.
The BHD Tool (OED) will convert these to models to use inside a Novalogic game. There are tutorials with that download. Follow this link to download these tools.. Look for ' Delta Force - Black Hawk Down - Mod Tools '.
As for the blank page... I just checked... there are two downloads on that page. You need the DFBHD to Comanche 4 3di Conversion Tutorial.
No, you do not need Black Hawk Down to do any of this. All of the tools are independent.

3dsMax comes with an .ase exporter - Nova just gives you one supposedly more suited for their game. That particular exporter is for 3dsMax not GMax.
