    Need Help!

    Yea,

    I have two problems.

My internet connection isn't working (this is on another PC)

It won't repair, if I click repair it says, "Failed query TCP/IP settings of the connection. Cannot proceed."

I can't disable it either. It just keeps staying, "Enabled"
    I can't open the status.

The other problem is D drive.
It's not reading anything, the computer can't recognize it.
It has a white question mark on it surrounded by a red circle
I get this if I double click on it,

"D:/ refers to a location that is unavailible. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or a on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you are connected to the internet, or your network, and then try again. If it still cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location."

Could all this be the work of a hacker? I found on another forum (research) that it could be static electricity... but I dont think so.
    Hello.

    I fixed it..
    I just rebooted.
Atfirst I was a bit afraid to reboot it, because I wasn't sure if it was a direct attack, but I just thought, "Aw the heck with it"

it fixed after rebooting. still pretty odd case though, 'd still like to know what causd it.

Maybe it was some kind spyware, I did do a spyware check and found some. it probably just needed a rebooting.

Well, just to keep it from looking like we have a member who logs in and talks to himself, I'm gonna post in here.

Anyway, it is good that is fixed and better to be safe than sorry. If it was a hacker.. that would have been bad news. Are you not behind a router ?

I only trust spybot and hijackthis. A good firewall that tells what is trying to access the net is a good thing to have too.
