Here are some things to learn about community forums/instant messages/chat rooms:
People post "LOL" (laugh out loud) even though it in no way made them laugh at all.
People will post that their favorite firearm is the OICW, even though they probably never have even fired a firearm. Also to consider how availible that weapon is to civilians.
In political discussions people will have no idea what they are talking about, but they know they heard it somewhere.
When stumped on a question in a subject that you have no idea what you're talking about you will type, "Well...." to delay the answer so you have enough time to look it up on Google.
You are guaranteed to get almost every member of the opposite sex to IM you when you type in that you are "Hot", "Sexy", etcetera
You will probably believe it when a member of the opposite sex says that they are "Hot", "Sexy", etcetera, and then IM them.
The fastest typer in a chatroom becomes the superior chatter.
You think you are the most clever person in the world when you arrange smilies to make them look like they are performing something else (my signature for example).
It is not okay to post inappropriate items directly, but it is okay to link to them in a forum.
A poster is only as good as his member status. (Modifier, junior member)
People sometimes post the same smile over and over again.
There's always the joker in a forum.
There's always the mature member in a forum.
There's always the person with too many technical questions in a forum.
There's always the person with the answers to those technical questions.
There's always the person who starts arguments in a forum.
There's always the popular modifier/admin in the forum who is always being picked on (I guess in this case it would be BTR).
There's always the popular modifier/admin in a forum who enjoys picking on that other popular modifier/admin (Charger).
There's always the popular modfier/admin who is never around (Anthony).
There's always that one female in a forum is being picked on just because she is a girl (Yea I wonder who that is).
There's always the smart guy in a forum.
There's alway the cool guy in a forum (THAT'S ME)
But finally, and most importantly.... the chances are you're not as cool as you try to make yourself look in a forum/chatroom/IM (that doesn't apply to me though, cuz you all know and i agree with the fact that I'm cool)
