When I tried logging in to multiplayer tonight, after entering my account name and password, it kicked me out of C4 and back to the start-up screen. Any ideas how to fix this?

you could download player manager, or you could try getting in touch with nova to fix the problem, but thats all i can tell you to do

Or you could go and Re-Install C4 "With YOUR OFFICIAL NOVALOGIC C4 DISK" and reg key w/ ALL OFFICAL NOVALOGIC UPDATES.....with no patches,Hacks IE: Cheats to include: c4 login bypass,player manager,host manager,C4UPD,FWO.pff,1 hit server mod and so on. After all you must be able to Read or Hack the game code to come up with such. Hmmm don't they use Argus for BHD, that was built on the C4 engine????? Hmmm things that go Bump in the night....Maybe big brother has been listening. I hear alot of pilots in the last few days have also been experiencing this same problem with MANY more to follow, from what I understand anyway. We will see.........................
Name one of those that would give a player an advantage over another. It definatly isn't the 1H server mod. With that running you cant even come in as an 8H pilot. So basicly it levels the playing field for EVERYBODY. As for the other tools and programs for C4. It's one thing to know how to use them. Mods are basically add-ons/expansions created by third party people or groups and can be downloaded for free.
Mods are expansions to the game, for example some contain extra features, additional maps, custom made skins, new textures and sounds etc etc..
Some even change all of these things.

As for BHD. Yes a third party created Argus to stop people that cheat in the game. One of the things it will stop in BHD is the game switches your so fond of using. And yes I run Argus on my server and also on my gaming PC.
As for modding BHD. If you look at the your CD for BHD you will find that Nova supplied mod tools. The tools needed to edit BIN files, create terrains, make 3D models, skins and yes even DEF files. Just like the one used to make the 1H server mod. You can also find the mod tools here. http://www.novalogic.com/downloads.asp?SO=4#tabs. So maybe you should look around and see just what big brother supplies before you start trying to put him in your corner.
It's also kind of amusing that BTR locked the last thread you started because all you were trying to do was pick a fight. And now you bring this back up in a thread that has absolutly nothing to do with your thread. Your fighting a loosing battle. Why don't you give it up already. I seriously doubt anybody here wants to hear about it.

Doc, I am not going to waste my time debating you. It all comes down to how you want to play. As players we all have the option to choose how we want to play. As a server we have the option run a server with rules and game play we want to use. The players have the option not to play in it. The player seeking help doesn't need you to add your agenda to the thread. He just needs some help to play the game.
Had the some problem, played around and played around, finely went to the C4 folder and clicked on the startup. htm and it took me to NOVA, got a new screen asking what connection I used to play games on the enternet, modum, dsl, cable, I clicked dsl it took me to the log in screen after that everything works great again.
Thanks for the help. Apparently the problem was with NovaLogic as their tech support sent me an email today saying they fixed whatever was wrong.

MY GOD, I am so confused. I cant get on multiplayer either. I have removed and DL 2x. I have deleted all files and all folders and reloaded. When I hit multi-player, it just goes back to desk top. I have also tried the new DL file trick and it did not work either.
Go to the NovaLogic website and find the link for tech support. Their tech support automatically gathers your system configuration and allows you to describe the problem you are having. I did this and was back on-line within a day.
Reddraco had the playermanger program than he un-installed it,then he discovered he can't get online anymore with C4. As I recall there is certain way to properly remove the program as was posted by the person who
designed it. I tried to remove it once but but failed terribly.

OK i can get to the screen that ask for my user name and pw, i put them in and then it give me screen to ask for assistance or support
