You guys talk about your "hi-tech" and "cordless"...this is what we used to mow the lawn when I was a kid!
LOL And I thought I had to much time on my hands. As for the color choice. Well I was a visionary, ahead of my time. Was only about 45 minutes to an hour ahead, but still ahead of my time. Either that or it was the only color they had.
Don't believe this for a minute. What really happened is that they tied Charger up out in the yard and let him graze.Originally Posted by Charger
Hey Charger. The hand holding the sickle (checked dictionary on that one) looks as if it may be of the female persuasion? When you said "we used to mow the lawn", does we mean you watching mom and the sisters? And what were the cows, horses, and goats doing if not eating (cutting) your grass?
Look, I might have exaggerated a tiny bit with the sickle...besides, don't knock grass till you've tried it...umm eating it that is.![]()
What I mean by "we" is the only reason parents had large family's back then was so they had plenty of kids to do the dirty work around the house . When my father "mowed the lawn" he would pull the cord, the mower would come to life and then over the sound of the engine he would tell me not to get my toes cut off in the blades while I pushed the thing up and down the lawn...
So you make homemade brownies then.Originally Posted by Charger
