I've noticed:
A certain C4 'Custom Maps' server still has C4UD id in the server info.
This server is also running hacked maps from
Reaper's C4 TKOTH-Server-Pack.
Seems someone has converted these maps to TDM maps.
They also left in the ZONE MARKERS.
Another huge disgrace is the REAPER/AVENGER signature on these maps have been ripped out and removed completely.

I remember when KA7 used to match against CFS on your server Avenger, I also remember how CFS in general would WHINE after too, after we WON. We lost too sometimes but we DIDN'T WHINE.
Something to the effect of " How KA7 would drag/lag down the server only for CFS pilots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I respectfully submit that Avenger's complaint here is about how not only has his software been taken and posted for download without permission - but now his name and Reaper's had been removed from maps made by them - after the thieves simply added a few TDM start markers.
I guess the closest thing I can compare this too --- What if I took the maps that MOW entrusted to me to only use on a KA7 servers and put up my own server, added a few start markers in different places, removed MOW's name and KA7's name from them and hosted them ?
There is a big difference between you getting ill about me taking the KA7's maps and hosting them ( and removing the appropriate credits ) and me getting ill about losing a match while playing a match on them. Come on Bro.
This goes without saying - and YEARS of having such things in my possession prove - I would never betray anyone's trust like this..I'm just trying to make a point.

Past the point of caring. Not even going to say a word.
I have a group of players to game with that have access to new maps and other items, when I want to work on the older games. For not only C4 but BHD, and JOTR also.
But never again will I go out of me way to help other gamers. It's just not worth it. Staying in squad suits me fine these days. Not a chance anything that I can't protect from basic bs gets out any more.
Just a note, Since theres no bms to mis utility for JOTR. Those of us that use the med instead of nile. At least for now have BMS files can not be alterd by average map thieves.
This also is just more more reason not to play squad matches. Not that there are many players in C4 left to hold a match.
How is it that CFS and Avenger get ripped when I post a thread about theft.

LOL I was asked the other day if I planned on coming back to C4 anytime soon. Told them if I had'nt of quit already this latest round of BS in the C4 community would have made me quit anyway. Seems to me that the people that want to "MAKE THE GAME BETTER" are killing another part of it. Look around guys. There's not very much left of the game as it is.
I've made quite a few maps for C4 and have been asked to let others serve them. Think I'll just hang on to them. The only safe place for them seems to be my own server. And if I decide to put it up. Will probably be invite only to join.
If there are any around to remember. I believe the C4 community could have had an exspansion pack along time ago. If you read the forums and look through INSO<DSS>'s post you will find alot of the things the UD has. If I understand correctly he got tired of dealing with the BS in the community and pretty much scraped the whole project. To bad. The coustom terrains and maps he posted about looked real good. Funny how history keeps repeating itself isn't it.

I have told Avenger this in another discussion we had. However, I don't think INSO put up with the arrogance of a whole squad feeling they have the 'right' to continue hosting stolen material - and were proud of it.
The question posed in the title of this thread has been answered.
can we have a say in this matter or will it be wiped?
If it will be wiped again then i wont bother posting and wasting time!!
