Your welcome to use the night evns I have on the Night Crew Site there r 2 green ones that would prob work for you. If you need some help with getting the last few maps ready I would give you a hand there too.

I was thinking about a map on a totally flat terrain with nothing but Spawn points, tile markers and farps. Figured I'd call it "Campers Hell". Well ok maybe a little scrub grass scattered here and there. Well maybe not. Don't think there would be to many that would want to play that. To much actual flying involed. :rofl: [/SIZE] [/COLOR]

Implement the NVG Mod and this Problem with the Night sight is flappy ( gelöst ) I wait a Long Time of the C4UD :alcoholic.gif:
Am curious about the Mod.

wtf... I contributed to this and have held on to it for this long... and somebody else releases it ... hardly seems fair. It was mostly your work Avenger... but I would have liked the chance to offer it for download.

I DO NOT Endorse any version of C4UD at this time. As near as I can tell this seems to be an incomplete rogue beta test version, perhaps from March. It also appears someone has even patched/updated it to get it to work correctly..
To have 1 ultimate download and then patch it, defeats the purpose of having 1 ulitmate download. Can you say Ironic....

I'm not sure what my plans are now. To be honest I'm almost too steaming mad to even think about.
But I certainly would NOT have released a hacked/patched beta test version I was entrusted with.

To see Players having Fun is my reward, that's why I've build nice programs/tools/etc for the C4 community, but a handful in the community have went out of thier way and given me all the UNconstructive CRAP, and Accusations, and Disrespect.
You can only imagine how it is that 'No Good Deed Goes Unpunished'.

I want to make the C4 community aware that contrary to what has been said since the "Rouge Beta Version" of C4UD has been released, that *CFS* has not, nor will we install the Ultimate Download into our Public Server. Any Servers you see are not our public server and we have not santioned it. We will not be installing it until the C4 Enhancement team Releases it and put's their approval on the download. What ever individuals do is up to them. But we will wait until the release by those that have worked so hard to add new life into the game we have enjoyed over the years.

I can remember seeing the UD maps up for "testing" 6 months ago or so, and wondering when it would be up for download. Now I guess I really don't give a crap. Nothing against you, avenger, you've done a fantastic job helping out the game; just don't vilify the guys putting things up for download or putting them on their servers - it just shows how much they love the game and are starving for new stuff, and not that they don't appreciate you or what you've done for the game.

As to the UD. I don't think it much matters if you sleep with the disk under your pillow or have the code hanging on the wall in a nice picture frame. You might consider taking a cue from the biggest purveyors of unfinished software (and the greediest bastards) in the world - Microsoft : they wouldn't think of releasing software that was complete and finished (too many marketing options get diminished that way).

Of course, you could open source the thing. At this point in the life span of C4 I just can't see what the point of secrecy is all about - but that's just me.

Hasta la vista C4, it was fun while it lasted.

Once again I find myself agreeing with you nak!!

The C4 GET team really has done wonders for C4, the player manager, the Host manager and the Ultimate Down load, and countless things that I do not have the time to mention.

C4 is a dead game!! Only a select few (maybe 30 or so) still play it.

So why worry about someone releasing what you have worked Soooooo hard on!!

We all love the game and just want more people to play it that’s all………

I hope we can all have the same goals, and im sure that we do.

People are only human and maybe methods need attention, but offence to you and the C4 GET team was never intended. Credit for making the UD can never be taken away from you guys.

But we have been waiting for a long long long time and a lot of people are leaving the game while we all waited and waited and waited. While rumours that you had stopped work on the UD grew, it was difficult just to sit still and do nothing!! some thing had to happen.

All I can say to you and the C4 GET team is sorry for any offence, but I hope you can see the community’s point of view.
