What, exactly, do you mean by "make my text look right?".

You wouldn't happen to have any links like that for Pant Shop Pro would ya. I'm running ver. 9 on that. I've got Photoshop 5.5 and 6 but never really used either on much. I've always like the layout on Paint Shop Pro. I do see alot more plug-ins for the Photoshop though. Maybe I should start using that too. Hmmmm I'm an old dog though. Really hate learning new tricks. LOL

While I'm thinking about it. Does anybody know what might possibly cause the animated smileys not to work on my PC. I get the same thing in yahoo. I've reset all my browser settings to default and check everything I could think of but they still dont animate. Any ideas would be helpfull.

Try This Link A lot of these links will give you other links to other tutorials. It covers PSP 7-9 and I believe you should be able to do any of them on 9, just that some of the features might be in a different place.

Might be your browser version. Try updating it?

    Re: need help

I've noticed that even with the latest downloads for ie, some features only work sporadically on my machine - specifically the "title" and "alt" html code for graphics (haven't had any problem with smileys tho). But I've noticed that the latest version of firefox works great. I used to use netscape, and now I've gone back to it ! http://www.spreadfirefox.com/

    Re: need help

Hey thanks Charger. Will check it out. Havent really done much with graphics but has always interested me. Along with a dozen other projects. LOL But with a little better understanding of the tools I have hopefully I can get something working here.

On the other problem. I just installed XP Pro a couple months ago and everything worked fine. Two or three weeks ago is when I started having problems with it. It even effects the scrolling bar that runs when uploading files. Ive got all current updates. Have IE6 and Maxthon for web browsers. Have run deep scans for viruses. Reinstalled all the yahoo software. Thought it might be something corrupt there since thats where I first noticed the problem. Even reinstalled the newest IE6 and all updates for it. I figured there is one minor setting somewhere that I keep over looking. I'm sure when I do find it it will be the very first option available to me. Anybody have a snake bite kit i can borrow. Got a bad feeling I'll be needing it soon.

    Hey Nak
Ive tried Firefox and didnt really care for it all that much. I know from what I read about it I'm the odd .9% of the people out there. LOL But thats me. Dare to be different. No matter how wrong I am.
