I Need Comanche Gold Mission Editor !

Hi All,
I am a big fan of Comanche Gold, BUT the original mission editor
included in the game has no EVENTS LIST; EVENT OR AREA TRIGGERS,
and I can not move vehicles or create IF/THAN events with him.

Therefore i need user created or NovaLogic modified Mission Editor -
WITH THESE OPTIONS!
Can you help me ?

I.m sure that some of our fans of C-4 will be able to direct you to the right place , I dont have the right answer for you , maybe Blue or Charger can be of some assistance.

I've searched high and low for anything related to Comanche Gold Mission editor and found nothing. Do people even play that anymore?

I have Comanche 3 somewhere on disk and will take a check to see what sort of editor it has. Not sure why your editor doesn't have Area Triggers or Events (Why does that sound so familiar)!

If someone else can come up with something, in the meantime I'll search some more.

I never played 3 or gold, doesn't the c4med work though ? (have you tried it ?) I think c4med and pappy's c4medv6 are both here somewhere on the download page, seems like its worth a try anyway ?

I checked the Comanche 3 disk and couldn't find an editor so I'm guessing it comes with Gold, think we're gonna have trouble locating anything for this one. As Nakulak said maybe you can uses the C4Med. Give it a try and let us know.

I have the C3 disk - but I'm fairly sure it came in the Gold package. No editor on my CD. I did notice the C3 PDF game guide has good technical info - better than the C4 guide...

...correction - it was jane longbow gold I had... I only have C3 normal so maybe C3 gold has an editor.

I played Longbow demo, thought that was a cool game. Never bought it though.

I realize now that its doubtful that the C4MED would even work with Comanche Gold...different engines.

I didn't play it but a few hours, but like a typical Janes game - it came with a detailed technical manual which I still have.

Hi all,
thank you for all answers and suggestions.
About idea to use C4med in Comanche Gold I must to say that every
mission editor create different output file type - C4( bms), CG( SMC ).
As you well know vehicles in Comanche3 and Gold are moving,
triggered by your actions in game, therefore I believe that exsist another
and fullfeatured mission editor with whom are created all these missions.
My hope is in two directions :
FIRST - Because Nova Logic in Comanche4 already give to users fullfeatured
mission editor it is possible to do it with Comanche Gold and I ask Nova Logic
about it - without answer yet.
SECOND - There are many good and best flying programmers that can
remake ordinar mission editor to fullfeatured and I ask them for help now !
I will continue to search decision - UFO.

Well I can assure you that Nova will not alter the C4 editor to accommodate Comanche Gold thats for sure. It would cost them way to much money to even think about doing this.

I think you probably would do better by buying Comanche 4 and getting the updated editor but I think considering your able to run Comanche Gold your most likely running Windows98, unless CG can run on WindowsXP I'm absolutely sure Comanche 3 can not.

You might try contacting "Viper" at Viper's Homepage and see if theres anything he can come up with, I believe they still run Comanche Gold there.
