NO COOP IN TFD?

I noticed there's a coop setting in the mission editor, is that an indication for something?

Yes... they just added TFD objects to the old DFLW Map Editor, and then recycled it.

Did any one get any info from novalogic as to why they did not include Mutiplayer coop in TFD? I sent an E-mail showing my disappointment on June 27th and never received a reply. Is there any chance Novalogic could or would include Coop Mutiplayer in the future?

Othello has fixed DF:TFD so that it will play in CO-OP mode... Whooooo Hooooo!

One draw back, there are no cooperative missions, so we map makers will have to burn the midnight oil and create some campaigns.

Yeeeee Haaaaa!

Way to go Master Othello... You always seem to light the way for us CO-OP enthusiasts.

I don't understand why NL has a problem with replying to people, says something about support right? . I've been waiting for some information from them, not like it was a trick question or anything...that was a month ago. Hmmm...it's not just me.

but only testing will tell if coops are playable in tfd

you know that i want to, but i'm not going to get my hopes up. novalogic must have had a reason (that they didn't take the time to fix) why they disabled co-ops. and it must have been worse than the invisable choppers in lw

As an avid COOP player and hoster I was very disappointed not to find COOP available for on line play. Reaching out and posting this brought some great people like OTHELLO, LadyHawk and others to come to our rescue and release the 8 player coop patch and a great first mission for COOP. My thanks goes out to them for their dedication and time to handle this so qucikly. TFD COOP ROCKS.

So tell me. Is there any posibility to play coop campagnies on LAN? I'v all ready apply patch to 1.o.o.7 version and nocdpatch and when hosting any game (coop) my friends can't join my serwer. The same thing happens when they are trying to host. We can not join our serwer's in our LAN. DFLW works fine but TFG not. What's wrong. We all have the same versions of game, same operation system and network protocols. Please tell what to do to play coop maps in DFTFD.

You must first change the Connection Type to LAN / IPX in your Host Multiplayer Menu, and then players must use the DFTFD LAN only execute icon to start their games and join your LAN.

LOL I know! I did it. But i'v done something else and my game works fine for now. Since i added maps from DFTFD Co-Op Campaign I and II Released i can play with my friends
