Are you laughing at it or happy it's out ?.
He is happy it is out of course. After all, this is a Novalogic FANSITE. The idea behind a fansite is to attract visitors to your site with POSITIVE feedback concerning the game so that more people will buy it and your community will grow and the site will have more visitors...and on and on.Originally Posted by Reaper
It shipped with a real MED and the Beta Nile. The graphics are JOTR/JOE quality - with the 'beta - bug removing' physics and fixes (what the JOTR/JOE update is - when they finally release it ) - and some older buildings and drivable vehicles in the mix. Weather effects - like rain and snow (even hard driven blizzard conditions) are also included.
Drawbacks - the AI are still incompetent nincompoops. The scopes are not very nice ( or zoomable ). Some of the guns are much weaker than others.
It is a 'plain jane' game that is fun to play (single player, anyway..) - and costs all of $20 US - from the start. If you need a structured, 'military style' and realistic game to feel like you are really gaming - you might be better off going to AA or another game. If you want the nostalgia of the 'good ol' days' of online coops with friends on custom maps or the chance to just have some simple fun - this might be right up your alley.
"The good ol days" and "simple fun" , two phrases that make me want to check it out.
will have a peep into it as soon as it will be out in germany

Yes I agree...Positive feedback. Since I've been playing Joint Ops I find it such a great experience. It's an awesome game and the editor, well it lacks some of the necessary functions to complete some certain types of maps, but there are tons of "work-arounds" that will help you design a really great fun map to play with your friends and have hours and hours of fun. Though I bought Escalation, due to my workload here at CPD I've been unable to actually play it as much as I would like to, I might have to ask for a few extra dayz off and really sit down and try this thing out.
I've been waiting for some positive reviews for xtreme and since I've heard some good things about it and the price is right I think I just might buy it. From the screenshots it looks pretty neat and goly gee it does look to have a BHD, JO, DFLW flavor to it.
You can't beat that price and the extra bonus is it has the Nile and Med editor included with it. What a bargin!
personally after my raving about jo then joe and then my great dissapointment im not gonna DFX, i'll just sit in the shadows and wait see.i stuck up for dftfd, dfbhdts, jo was ok @ 1st but, joe. joe turned sour in my eye's and if DFX turn's out to be a junk game like the last 2 game's then im out. i'll play AA more

Wasn't trien to stir up trouble. If You like how nova released the game and it brings you hours of fun thats all that counts. I also checked out the screen shots and was just wondering what the players that got it thought about the game play.
I hear that Reaper , i'm wondering the same? I would love to hear some feedback from some of those that have played also...
I was actually trying to be subjective. But I can tell you - many of the 'DF Vets' are talking about how much they like the game in Nova's forums.
That's it , i'm going to get it... I just hope the "old lady" doesn't notice that 20$ bill missing out of her billfold.. If she asks i'll do the same old
No medics in DF1 - no medics in DFX. But spawnpoints should take care of the inconvenience and keep the running to the action to a minimum.
Sorry i'm still hooked at mo on Landwarrior still
