as I sit here reading these threads on, yes, a glitchy packard bell monitor (whose screen curves out on the sides by the way) . . . its craptacular !!! LOL (don't worry, its not my gaming pc lol)

You actually own a Packard Bell...I mean still? My first PC, that actually had a hard drive and a cd rom was a PB, 75MHz, and lemme tell you that 75MHz was a fast azzed computer in that day (1902?)...think the HD was like 5MB or something.

lol. i just gutted a PB for its ram, some people will pay for those old little sticks predating sd-ram by a few million years.... the ram was the only thing worth the time though.

I hear ya Charger , that was it for me too(my first pc) PB 75MHz, I thought that sucker was bad to the bone , HD was 8mb ... hoooaaaaahhh

Yeah that was it...8mb. I just remeber I had so many problems with that computer. While it was under warranty I had to have a HD changed, then a few weeks after the warranty expired, and of course I didn't get the extended warranty, the monitor blow up and then the motherboard died...good 'ol PB, ya gotta love em!
