i got to say "man this game looks way too cool."
Now I am beginning to see why everyone in the Nova forums is saying... 'We are waiting, but we aren't waiting on Nova (and a patch) - we're waiting on EA and BF2."
WOW, way to cool

I agree with Ed but I don't think most people would have a problem playing it, though factors are involved such as internet connection, modem, ISP, etc. I think the degrees of frame loss you might get will depend on your graphics card...Recommended are allways higher and just means to get the full potential of the game it may run better at the recommended. It's probably safe to say that if you have 56K modem and less then 1GHz processor, you might as well hang it up.Originally Posted by Edward
If any of you are now playing Battlefield Vietnam it won't be too much different than that. For those of you who don't know, DICE bought out the Desert Combat Mod crew and put them to work on BF2, and I'm sure there'll be a few problems, but not too many. In their Desert Combat releases for Battlefield 1942, they had pretty much worked out most of the bugs BEFORE they released each upgrade - I'm sure they'll put the same on this. BF2 is running on the same game engine as BF:V but it's been modified or upgraded also.
It's basically the same as running newer versions of DF, if your machine was equal to or slightly higher than the minimum, you turned down settings so that you could play - I'm sure this will happen in BF2 also....
