Regarding the new update for JO

Does anyone aggrees with me ??

This is a copy of my mail to Novalogic:

This is just too much. Why destroy the game ???? with this update. I am a player from the first Deltaforce and I have always bourght at least 2 copies of every version.
My function is Sniper and the latest update makes the job for the sniper much more dificult. NO MORE ZOOM in the Scope, WHY ? The sniper aint got surpressed weapons anymore either, We only have single shot possibilities and snipers have only got 40-60 shots available. The only things left was to get the overlook over the batlefield and with that job you have to have the Zoom.
When proned the caracter rumbles arround in oval circles when moving the mouse in stead turning arround from the center. The game is now unplayable for a sniper......
WHO ARE THE WISE PERSON WHO DECIDED TO REMOVE THIS FUNCTIONS ??? Now my faithful clan for over 5 years will seek for another game - too bad - I have spoken to several others that aggrees with me. Novalogic does not listen to the users anymore - They even dont give us the opputunity to choose wheter to upgrade or not - if we dont, we cant play!!. At least let us know what funtions the upgrades will remove/append from or to the game. I dont even expect any answer to this mail as I know that it possibly will disapear in the crowd of unanswered mails.
Too bad - the game WAS good until now. Good luck to you all in the future.

The update is due to Escalation the forth coming expansion pack all the new weapons and new armour had caused an unbalance in the game and the update is a attemp to correct this.

Sounds very odd to me. !!!! What difference should that make if the game is well documented and programmed. Its is just a feature for some weapons and not for others. Just like the automatic fire capabillities for other weapons and not for sniper weapons. Follow me ?

A lot of the old gamers where happy when BHD came out and users could fade out into the souroundings fx. when proned in the grass like in the real world. That feature went away again i an update. Maybe some users had complained about loosing a game to snipers. So they were granted with a black dot in distances over 200m.

If novaworld intentions are to make a game that are close to reality they have to go all the way.

I really dont understand their decisions.

Well, if that is what you actually sent to them, I am sure they are going to pay a lot of attention to it. I mean, if I get some kind of complaint letter that is written in such poor english, I jump right on whatever they are upset about.

hum guess ppl need a master deg to send a complaint Not . ppl every where are mad about the newest update for JO and with good reason . since i beta tested JO and now JOE i cant go into this subject any farther

I posted a complaint on the Nova community site my self. Not as nasty or crude as most but never the less As an unhappy custumer. The update was just one more example of what I have come to expect from Nova.

The sniper scope was a small part of what this update did. While I like to snipe My biggest complaint was the expanstion going gold before Nova took care of the game I have now.

Part of gaming that brings me the most fun is creating maps either to play with others or to play by my self. I still can't do that the way I'd like to. The fact the Nova crammed JOE down my throat made it worse.

Spending the time I have in C4 with the game errors never fixed,
The fact they dumped coop in BHD with the lame exuse the engine wouldn't support it when it did in C4 and now JO. Sticks in my mind every time I see a glitch or have a problem in JO.

More than angry im disapointed to the point of looking else where for my fun.

Kind of stuck between a rock and a hard spot my self. I have two fan sites for Nova games one for C4 another for JO don't really want to close them expecaily the C4 site. I guess it's what little bit I feel I can do for the community.

I don't know, I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel here.

Nice to hear that im not alone in this matter. And yes, freema22 - I certainly hope that Novalogic will pay attention, even if I or others doesn't have a master degree in english, but hopefully we can make ourselves understandable.

Maybe we should start a usergroup. That will be some news.

If we are enough, they should listen to our whishes and demands. For some users/players of this game, a lot of time is being used in front of the monitor ie in a game or fx. chatting about it.

I think that most of the users of JO are faithful users from the old Deltaforce time. Why not keep those users close to the game by NOT removing good and high prized features. I could mention many features from DF2, LW, TDF and BHD that are introduced and then removed again. Most of my sniperfriends were so thankful for the new scope introduced in BHD.
What about all the old weapons, aren't they used in real life anymore ?
What is the purpose by using so much time in developing new weapons and then remove other high rated weapons - why not just let them all be available for the player to choose ??????

Let me be honest here - when the question comes to expansion packs I think Terranova does a better job.

I was right, regardless of who the reciever was at Novalogic, the mail wouldn't be read at all. I surposed that Marketing was the best surgestion of a reciever, as they handle the sales.
