I can say That the 3D renered feature of the NILE is the most powerful addition to the ED

When this editor is up to speed and fully functional you will wonder how you ever made maps with the old crappy editor.

Placing objects has never been easier and no more save, export, quit ed,start game,load mission, look at object and find sinkers and floaters, make spurious notes. quit game,start ed., load mis,
fine tune hieghts and placements, save,export,quit ed, start game,load mission, AAAAGAGHAHAHAGAHAHHHHHHH.
I hated that tedious **** !!!!!!!!!!!!
3D wire frame was nice but not perfect. and Bullits Editor will not let you zoom or spin in 3D wireframe mode.

This map editor is the BOMB
now if they can get it to work correctly without crashing

Maps will be flooding the websites once this is working like it should !

PS HEY NOVA GET IT RIGHT AND GIVE US SOME REAL MAP EDITING POWER *****SUGGESTION******* GIVE US COOP BUILDERS
SOME EVENT POWER, AND HOW ABOUT A WAC EDITOR BUILT INTO THE ED. THANKS

right on about the coop / event's / wac file's none of this codeing has been set the nile editor is still in BETA w/each update we have more added to the editor . some event's and wac command's work now as it stand's but the 1's that work now could change . this was per MR . Zoom @ NW forum's

Events and waypoints do not work in coop thats a fact but may work veia WAC in other maps. My concern is that I heard that NILE is suppose to be included in the expansion pack Escalation when it's released sometime in November. I'm wondering if NL will release the updates for (BETA)NILE to us before the release of Escalation. Mr. French or Mr. Zoom said a few weeks or so ago they would have events probably working within a few weeks of that point, it's been two and a half weeks or so since then and now they state, "events and waypoints and coop are something that we are going to try and tackle in the upcoming days." I take that as they haven't actually got to them yet!

I don't want to downgrade NL's work on the NILE because it's deffinatly the best editor going but still, I would like to be able to complete my maps and at this point we're all at a stand still on what we can and can't do.

Charger i would hate to see you Work on 50 Maps and get them ready for Upgrades to come in Then they Shut the project down..

I'm confident that NL will release the working editor for sure...I'm just a little disipointed in NovaWorld (Forums) where I've been going to find out whats going on with the editor...looking for answers to anything related to the coop side of the Editor but as it sits, anything to do with AI is hovering over AAS, TDM, DM etc...and I'm not upset with NL as much as the lamer's who post on the forums about how well their version of NILE works..mine works perfectly as well...50 maps, I'd be happy with one completed map!

I like the way nile works at the moment aside from few bugs and events. ...

Im wondering charger will Nile be able to support EXP for JO or will they do somthing crazy and put out a whole new edditor?

Do you think that it will support both Games Non EXP and EXP
or mabee two diff vr.
or mabee somthing like BHD and team sabre combining the two but unless you have exp you cant use the items

No new editor. NILE will support the expansion. I heard that Escalation will include a working version of NILE and obviously all the objects in Escalation will be included for use in NILE, just like BHD and TS, you didn't get the extra items unless you had the expasion and they worked in BHD MED so yes this is based in the same principle.
