    Question single player missions

I have been thinking about purchasing joint operations but need a little info. I thouroghly love playing all my delta force games on single player ( will try multi-player soon ) . The salesman at the store I was at told me that if I liked playing single player on black hawk down, that I would not be happy with joint operations. He said the reason was that on the single player joint ops missions I would end up going through the missions and winning without ever seeing the enemy and experiencing no action at all and probably not even fire my weapon!
Is this true? Will a lover of single player missions like joint ops?
I would really appreciate any input y'all might have cause I hate to be missing out if that sales person doesnt know what he's talking about.
    thanx so much!

I'm not sure what the salemen is talking about, wonder if he even played this game. Joint Ops has massive coop missions that can be played by a single player with some skill and luck you might survive and beat the mission. There are over 200 enemy AI in a single mission and they tend to fight back pretty hard. You can play a mission on LAN with a password and you can play them alone. I often play alone LAN and use what ever weapon I want, sniper, riflemen, etc and take my time and have beat it with a lot of effort on my part, which is good because it's not easy. I suggest you try the demo out if your in doubt.

Hey, thanx for the input, I will try the demo out and decide then.
Ive always just gone single player because we didnt have high speed internet until just recently. and now that i've gotten highspeed I'm not sure how to work out some issues like my firewall blocking me from play. so , I'll check out the demo, and then read through old posts, see if i find anything out.
(and meanwhile there's all the good single player stuff in the map database for delta forces and comanche ! )
thanx again for the info, I appreciate it and glad I found Checkpointdelta forums, excellent site and seems like real good people involved!
