Using Teamspeak in Comanche4

G'day People: I was talking to Avenger-CFS on TS2 the other day & he gave us a web address <www.peterbarrette.com> to download an application that allows you to see who is talking on TS2 in your HMD display, The Application is meant for BHD, but I have been told it works in Comanche4. I have downloaded it to my desktop & have a problem! To excecute the application I used Windows XP Install Wizard, contrary to the 'readme' instructions. I now have 2 extra icons on the desktop 1st is the =SetupTsShow.exe= icon. & 2nd (after installation) is =TsShow4DX8= icon. It does say that if you are running DirectX9 it will work! But I can't seem to get it to!(?)

this guys got some cool stuff here, but if you read the notes, you lose 4 to 8 frames per second by using the software - that could be your edge on jumping the other player. I haven't used it, but if I were you I'd uninstall it, and reinstall using the directions. If you corrupted your directx, you might want to reinstall directx before reinstalling the proggie - or you could just use winxp's go back function and restore your computer to before you installed this and start over

Using the Directions

I also had to do a Windows Update. I needed my Net.FrameWork updated for it to work. But Reading the Instructions & Warnings is VERY Important.

Also Like WiperSix said about frame rates: The program does give you options on text size, text color, text placement in your C4 HUD. For me I noticed the bigger the Text Size the more frame rate loss I had. So Smaller seemed better suited for me with out noticing any frame loss. If your frame rates are at a critical point all ready, then this program will prolly not suit you.
