    Z Values for TFD

    Apologies if this has been asked before. ( I couldn't find anything)

    Does anyone know the Z values for TFD or can I use the basic values from LW??

    oh heck give me a sec to find where i put it lol brb im still looking . here is steevieb's dflw z value list it will help alot as most of the building's in tfd are dflw . as a rule of thumb all wall's or floor's of building's are either 3 , 4 , 5 in z value height most tunnel's start @ -8 . the king of copy and paste strike's again here is a tfd z value list by { linker_pinoy }

    sand bag z-values

    hi all...here a setting z-value for the sandbag walls to stack on top of each other

    0,175
    1,44
    1,175 then 2,0

    this stacks them 4 high right on top of each other no over lapping..if you ever playing dftfd to see this setting in action join game called CASTLE BATTLE usually last page of public on DFTFD
    i dont think these r listed on the z-value list

    Unless in tunnels, it's suggested that you add 1/2 meter to an AI's Z Value to compensate for minor variations with the above list and it can also help you in keeping them from being partially submerged into the floor or what ever you are placing them on. They will fall to the surface and it will be invisible to players unless it takes place right in front of them.

    In my First Shot map for TFD, I had a problem with the Z Values for the Casbah buildings and that was the only correction I could use at the time - this was before Terranova came out with the addition to the modified C4 editor so that you could use it with TFD.
