I starting to appreciate the rawness of the Df2 terrain grafix.
Being pinned down, and having to spot the muzzle flash is great.

I have DF1, Land Warrior and TFD. Ive never played DF2....Am I missing something??? My DF1 wont play in Win XP. There is a new trilogy pack with the first three however I dont wish to pay for three to get the one I dont have, however its WinXP compatible now. Sigh
All that and I lost the BHD contest cause I had to work. Two easy questions. **** Im having a tough week. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I have a bunch of A/D maps I made long time ago that'd be a real work out for ya.

If you want them, pop over to General Discussion over at DFA - I just put a link to them.

Now if it was those types of maps, I might come along and play target while I'm trying to snipe at ya...

i'll answer if your missing something lol . which graphics do you like better df1 style ?? or tfd style graphics. if df1 is your style then you'll probally love df2 . but if clean crisp dflw tfd bhd graphics is your style then your not missing a thing . only thing about df2 i like and liked from the start was tall grass , im stickn to dflw and bhd at least i can see my targets and not have to decifer which pixel i need to whack

If we eventually get enough people playing and a host, we could play those maps.

If I can run 16 w/no problems in DFLW and TFD then DF2 shouldn't be any problems either

Yep still do and host under RF MIDNIGHT cable. Mostly on weekend mornings(GMT). Most of the time host my own maps. Still like the grass in the terrain
but miss the auto run and med of TFD and LW.

Rediscovered this after two years of not using it. Did so while chasing after a train in a new Crowbar=M= CoOp map... I was chasing a train two years ago when I was first taught this "auto-run" feature by a generous DF2 player whose name I have forgotten.

Thanks to LadyHawke and Ghost, whose comments prompted my "brain-housing-group" into action.
