Have downloaded the demo but it wont work, th game runs OK until I try to connect to Novaworls where it just hangs.. I have tried everything (even turned of fthe firewall) but no luck..anyone else have this problem...HELP....

have you tried to update the gm after installation of the demo ??
i have herd of a few problems about ppl tryn to join a certin server , but they get placed into another server by NW .

i just looked at NW and didnt see another problem like yours so im stumped hopefully a update of demo will fix ya

Have done the update and turned firewall off just in case but still no luck I will keep trying though..LOL
how long have you waited , mine install hangs alittle but does connect 20 sec or so
I have seen a lot of players with that same prob complaining on novas site. Some players have updated the vid card drivers and fixed it. Most seem to be using an ATI card if that helps. I am seeing some very long server login times and the same long wait between games cycling. Could be some players r being timed out.
yeah it seems that the game is frozen when u connect . But it just hangs when loading pings then it works fine for me...... so far the
one bug that i hate is the riding on the rotors thing.... thought they would get that fixed just like the BHD fix ...... but what the heck still fun to play and nvidia cards have no problem that i c ....lol ... ATI cards could be the problem,

Have seen some posts on Novaworld and it appears that soem versions of Norton Firewall have issues with this game (even when its turned off),
However have played Lan version and I LIKE IT... Yes there are a few bugs but its a beta demo and this is expected after all..
Make sure if you can update vid cards this is 1 major problem, also you need to update routers if this applies to your internet connection. NW is trying very hard to cycle thru all the various problems. The 1 thing you must realize is when this game comes out it will potentially have the most players on line of any game out there. The various forms of internet hook up, routers, firewalls, and cpu set ups, are a virtuall nightmare to figure out.
I caution those of you that are turning off firewalls, this is not a good idea nor will it be a recommended game play option. Please be patient. All good things come to those that wait. LOL
NOVA games rule and will always be the BEST!!!!!!
