Most Sig designers use Adobe Photoshop, and there is no real tutorial for a Sig as such but a good place to visit for Photoshop tutorials is Good-Tutorials , this site has over 2000 tutorials on different techniques and effects and by combining them you can learn how to make sigs, you can also search by name for specific tuts.

Who's up to helping me? I made this sig using PaintShop Pro 7 a few months or so ago just messing around with it.

Okay here’s the thing, the flag in the background is faded and I'm trying to do the same thing using Adobe Photoshop CS but for some reason I can't figure out just how to do it. The problem is I forgot how I did it with Paintshop Pro so if someone could just get me pointing in the right direction I would appreciate it...I searched through the tutorials but maybe I’m just not looking for the right thing.

Mess around with your opacity on your layer window
Opacity will blend it really well. Probably around 50-70%
