cannot reinstall tfd

I recently reformated my pc; problem is that now I cannot get tfd to install. My progress meter during installation gets only as high as 76% which looks to be while the terrains pff file is loading. Then it stops loading and I get an error message #117. I tried to copy the cd to my hard drive but that isn't happening either. My pc is a P3 933mhz, 384ram, G4 ti 4400 graphics card. Any suggestions would be helpful...please and thank you.

Good question Artic...is TFD an expansion? I use to have it so I can't remmebr.

Yup.. gotta have DFLW to install it - that was one of the things I disliked about it at first..

But that was only till I started the game.....

Hmmm very interesting. I didn't even try to install LW cause I've been playing only TFD, but I will give that a shot and see what happens. Thanks for the help and I'll let ya know if it did the trick.

Ok I went and installed from the beginning; df1, df2, lw, and guess what worked, tfd. Thanks alot for the help. On a side note, that is very dumb to need lw to be able to install tfd. What if someone was just getting into Delta Force play and only bought tfd??? Makes me laugh again at Novalogic.

All of this is news to me. TFD was the first NovaLogic fps game I bought. It was a stand-alone install. I installed it and played Rüstinsk online. ( I wonder whatever happened to that rather unlikeable ruffian ).

Anyway, I went back and bought DFLW later...hmmm...but I can see how TFD would be called an expansion.
