Version 2

Does anyone here know how to obtain version 2 of the game?
Is it only available in new copies bought or is it a download?

The version 2 comes in the armed forces pack nova put out. There is also a fixed exe for it here at delta. after u get it dont up date it, It will up date as verson1.5 and mess the game up.

The Fixed EXE seems pretty small. Is it the full fix we've been talking about or just a no cd fix for the version 2?

Version 2 was novas answer to players that crashed and didn't lose a point it was used in the nova server then removed at 1 time then placed back as the scoring version we still see there now. It wasn't ever put out as a patch. Nova didn't even say any thing about it. Players stumbled on it on there own. Thats when we found out there was another version out in the public. If you understand that this version scores crashes so you lose a point. and says a kill is 0 heath from the area around the player that dies. It will help you understand why the scoring in version 1.5 does what it does. Why you need the direct hit to take health to 0. that's why no counts in version 1.5 take place. It's just a matter of what the version says is a kill or a crash.

I and most have no problem understanding that if you fly drunk or just cant fly and hit a mountain you're dead. LOL. Or if a missile blows up next to you and doesn't actually hit you you can die. Most real life missiles actually work that way. Version 2 is just what the doctor ordered, and INSO's AE V2 is a nice cap to complete it.
