We have another forum member who fails to show up on the who's online\who's been here list.
The only way I've been able to mimmick this was to go to Tools-> Internet Options -> Privacy ... and set my privacy settings to their highest settings. Had to post and enter my id and password at the same time too.
My guess is a firewall or 'cookie critter watching' program has changed a setting in explorer that is not allowing you to accept cpd's cookie. But, of course it is just a guess.
When I bought a firewall program... I got one of those 'critter watchers' at a bargain price. Unfortunately, it didn't have a 'restore previous settings' option and it messed up my settings so bad I couldn't even go to my own internet service provider's site. Other sites worked fine, but others.. no way to make them work thru my settings (that I could figure). To make a long story short, I backed up the bare essentials (email, maps, etc.) and re-installed the os and explorer ...and voila... it worked again.
