I love this game! =)

I just ordered my copy and it should be here soon - and a couple other friends did too. We really like the demo.

I notice most of the servers are DM and Team DM .. Some questions:

Does anyone play COOP - is it fun?

I notice the custom maps have missions - destroy the other guys base.

Does that mean the main goal of the built in MP maps is just kill each other - not the bases?

Where do I unzip the custom maps into?

Has anyone figured a way to connect to another person (say for coop) without using Novaworld?

I just don't like relying on their service, though it works fine for now.

Anyhow.. yah I have a MS Forcefeedback Precision Pro 2 .. wow.. it's great!

dm & tdm games are fun because you are playing with a large group of players.

i actually prefer cooperatives, but they are a harder game to put together. in a coop, all players really need to be in the game at the beginning. and it must actually be a "cooperative" where all players work together to accomplish the same goals. it is best if there is a designated leader (usually the host because only the host can see the objectives that are complete). that's why you see a lot of coop games are hosted with a password.

the novaworld pages simply connect you to the hosts ip address, so you are not losing anything by going through novaworld. you can host a private game on novaworld and just give your friend(s) the password. currently there is no direct ip software for this game that i am aware of.

Very nice site btw - yah I grabbed all the maps. Looks like a lot of hard work was done with making them.

One more question about coop:

Do you respawn when you die?

wait 'til you start mappin' your own missions, then you'll realy be hooked

yes, in a coop you are able to re-spawn.

I just wanted to add my two cents in and say that Comanche 4 is an excellent game. Making your own missions is a great experience and just adds to the excitement of playing it. I play allot of other games so it isn't like I'm praising C4 like it was the only game I owned. Out of all I actually get a great satisfaction from the C4 experience. Like Rus said, it’s addictive.

Hi there well I must admit that C4 is **** addictive I also have bin playing 'online' since the days of DF2 now I belong to a clan on Ghost Recon but hav seen 'combat' with another clan back on counterstrike,DF2,DFLW and also AF3 After playing the demo of C4 I also got' hooked' and bought the game now I cant stop playing it ,though am having problems trying to get online with it ,once I succeed then hopefully I'll meet some of you in the 'battlefield' hurrhurr
