    Genral Information Box

I only recently got DFLW, but I am having a problem trying to make my own missions. I make duplicates of different miaps so that I can continue to play the original missions. I take the duplicate maps and delete everything on the terrin map that the orginal map creator had put on it so that I can use the same terrain to mak my own missions. My problm is is that whenever I bring up the General Information Box and try to delete all the information on it to replace it with my own information, it just goes back to the information that the original map creator put in it. Is there some way to take care of this problem?

I'm not sure of what trouble you are having. But if you are creating a map that you merely want to use the same terrain of another map... why not just start a new map & select that terrain? The stock terrains are pre-loaded in the game and map editor.

If I misunderstood the question, I appologize.

    Genral Infomation Box

My problem is is that I can't change the mission objectives in the General Information Box. Whenever I delete them and put in my own mission objectives, it just goes back to the original mission objectives.

Sounds like you just need to start the map fresh, without trying to get the terrain from a pre-made map, all terrains are allready in the mission editor for you to use, they will be 'blank' (the general info allso) untill you start puting stuff on them.

    5 easy steps:

    1.) Open the mission editor.
    2.) Click "Edit" (top left)
    3.) Click "General Info"
4.) Select the terrain you wish to use (in the 'mission terrain' box)
    5.) Start makeing your mission.

You dont need to use 'pre-made' missions to get the terrain. hope this helps ya!

You should not have a problem doing that if you save & export the mission to a binary file with a new name.
