    WHQL

The readme mentions it and for Comanche 4 it's very important.

Nvidia released new drivers that are not WHQL certified - needless to say, performance in bechmarks looked okay but once playing the game things were jittery and seem to 'frame jump'.

If you try out the new Nvidia drivers and find poor results, you'll almost certain to be space downloading the WHQL versions 30.82 (or something like that - it'll mention WHQL certified on their site).

These are WHQL certified and safe with Comanche 4:

Basically, if you try any new drivers, I'm just mentioning you'll be fine with WHQL.

    Just a heads up.

    Windows98 Version Of Nivida driver

Thanks for that quiet. Just to mention that the link you have is to the Windows XP version of the driver, I've pasted the wondows98 version below incase anyone would like to update to this newer version of the driver. I have 2942 and didn't realize an update was out. Pays to read the forums huh!
