Last Monday, I extracted the Menu files for BHD and e-mailed them, along with screen shots, to Othello.
Just got an e-mail from him stating that "Yesterday, I began already to poke around. I'm sure that there is something small to change to activate coop. It needs to be found though ;)"

DevilClaws has made a Beta Coop Addon. Although it adds a file or two to the pff, you use the Addon to actually start the game. If you do not, the orginal menu options are initiated.
Nobody has it yet...so I tried it alone ..

I installed Devil Claw's Co-Op Add-on, but everyone who tries to join my game gets auto-punted... :(
Are there TCP / UDP router ports that I need to open in order to stop the auto-punts? :puzzled:

I have, the fellow df'ers need the coop addon as well to play.
Okay... here's the scoop.
I installed Devil Claw's Co-Op Add-on, and hosted four games this evening. The Add-on does not allow players to pull up the mission goals, win/loss conditions, etc.
Players were getting tired of the same four missions, so I extracted the Single Players missions and am in the process of converting them to Cooperative missions.
By the way, Othello is creating a "true" Co-Op patch (not an add-on), which will replace the original DFBHD.exe file. His Beta Co-Op patch works fine, but players still cannot access the mission goals, win/loss conditions, etc. However, he is still investigating and working on these issues.
I posted on a few sites about the difference. Patch vs Addon. And that's probably in assembly.. uggghhh. Personally, I don't see how he finds the patience to do it...Quote:

Othello sent me the BHD Co-Op Patch codes he was working on, so perhaps AceGoober, Dogbert and I can finish what he started.

Hi all , just wanted to say(you probably by this time know) I got the master addon shortly after it came out and have been hosting a 6 person team every night since, the only ones that get punted are ones that have an old nova login.. Come check it out if you want to, just look for >Doorways Coop< Fun-Fun-Fun:bouncing:

yeah i'll come check you out sometime doorway... i love coop..i don't play tdm's or the such unless my clan needs me too. i also host alot my server name is AoD~cOoP come check me out sometime..i have 3 coop maps i designed so far for BHD but still with no objectives/ and kill counts i feel like i'm missing something lol
Jin you are welcome anytime to play , I have about 20 maps now that I have made for coop. And I will sure look for your server and play.. I went into the "score config. settings" in my bhd folder and changed the scoring for my games , it was easy.. I got so tired of the -2 points everytime I died ,lol, so was everyone else. Changed that and also have it where you get 2 points for meding someone , lot more medics playing on my server now , lol..
Humm i'll have to go look into that scoring deal you can actually turn off the - in points for when you die?:bouncing:
