I have seen other players' stats and comments and all their text appear in differnt colours - reds and blues. I'd like to do this too. Can anyone explain how its done please?

Just go to the Downloads section on this website, select the DF game you play, then download and install the NAME EDITOR. Instructions are self-explanatory...
You don't mean in a posts do you?
Was just wondering cause its easy to change colors in a post.
You can even change the size.
Even the style.
E'gad's I hate Lime Green!
Nah, Charger... He needed a Name Editor for DF:BHD, so I sent it to him via e-mail.
Boy I'm slow sometimes...:stupid2: :LolLolLolLol:
Umm it'll let you use symbols but not colors.
I found I can type <cff> in the chat box and get blue text, but it works just the once. Can anyone tell me how to make it permanant? Thanks for all the other replies folks. I'm still playing! Can't wait to get broadband for a smoother experience though.
Cheers.

When I press 'T' (universal chat) and type- the chat is blueish. When I press 'Y' (team chat) and type - the chat is green. When I type in '<cff>test' - I get the same colors I always do and it reads '<cff>test'.
I did a little checking on this yesterday and understood this to be something that was available in the demo but disabled in the full version.
I was able to get a server color change - with ~1 prefacing the server name - something that has been available throughout the DF series.
