NovaLogic Addresses BHD 5 Second Punt

The following email from NovaLogic has been sent out regarding the now infamous Black Hawk Down 5 second punt issue..

Anyhow.. heres the official dirt from Nova..

Dear Novalogic Customer,

After releasing the latest update for Delta Force Black Hawk Down we discovered a number of players with lower end video cards were getting punted from games, or were punting people from games that they were hosting.

A new update addressing this issue is currently in the works, but in the mean time you can simply uninstall the game and then reinstall, this time without running the update. There are still a number of multiplayer servers
running on the old version that will allow you to play on-line while we program and test the new update.

Note: This info applies to DFBHD Version 1.0.0.10 only - anyone on version 1.1.0.5 can disregard this message!

I have an ATI Radeon 8500 128 meg card. Hardly low end and it happens to me !!!!!!!!

Join the club ATI Radeon 9700. I think its there servers . They were down for a while last week.:ar15:
