I would appreciate if someone could help me and advise how to make an aircraft go to a target and start a bombing run. I have been creating some maps for our use in practice. These are not maps for civilian use, we want to make them as realistic as possible as we are using actual 3D country maps for this. I appreciate any feedback. Also are there any other aircraft available ie B-52 or others which were created.

what version novalogic gm is this for ??? if it's tfd look into the map editing section. there is a tutorial sticky on top of pg , i do belive i put a tutorial for tfd bomb run's :spin:Quote:

This would be for DF2, also would you be so kind as to advise if someone has crated other aircraft besides the cargo. Something like a B-52 would be rather nice. will be awaiting a reply and thank you for a prompt response.

no this is only for tfd . it is possible to reskin the c130 but unless all in your server have the new skin . only you will see itQuote:

Still no one has advised me how to create such an event even if I have to use the aircraft that comes with the game, can someone tell me how to go about this please. Scorpion
this cannot be done by normal means , i created the illusion of this in a df2/lw items dnld s/p map i made for my self lol . df2/lw items dnld is a dflw addon i created this illusion by placeing the mig at desired z value and maken it it's own group. make a wpl with 2 wp on it 1 in front off mig the other on other side of thing to be bombed. way past so it fly's outta sight , assigne the wpl to the mig's group . place a bad guy buy the item to be bombed make bad guy his own group . shoot the bady guy and lase the target with laser designator right away for proper effect. now the real fun the eventQuote:

set group volocity mig to {100kph}
now even the funner part this will take time to get it right . the proper spaceing of the mig to target , for the effect to look proper ya must place the mig just the right distance from the target about 200-250meters. ti hide the plane from being seen just in air not mobile use the fog at a level around 3-5 depends on what color fog . or set map as night mission . now if this didnt confuse you lol then you'll get this right . and if your confused and want this effect then i could set up 1 event compleate /wmig target and bad guy . g/l
Edward, I would greatly appreciate if you would in fact send me a copy of the completed MIG bombing run so I could verify how it was done and apply it to my projects. We were warned by our Government we do not have much more time and all the projects are completed at our end. I would like to ask you if possible with all your knowledge, would you be interrested in assisting us in future project. We will reemburse you adequatly for your work. Which country are you from and do you have any type of security clearence. If not we could arrange your bonding, and thank you again.:smilegrin:
I my self also have a bombing technique in one of my maps.But i used choppers to drop the its a really cool effect.I have 5 choppers doing the deed.I used choppers cause they can start off on the ground and fly the course where as the planes need to be set high in the sky And if you don't want any one to see them at the beginning of the map you have to put them off in the distance where as the choppers you just need to hide them behind a hill.Any ways if you would like a copy of my map with the choppers emailme at amj_daredevil@hotmail.com .

sure i'll do up a mis and bms then zip it and send it to your email . i do this for FREE for the love of the gm , yes evil helo's do work the way you sugested . duder is wanting the plane to do it hence my instruction's , also the way i have it set up the plane is at or just past target when bomb hits . reason the map isnt up for public dnld is the terranova-exp.com df2/lw items project isnt as popular as exp . but i have a s/p mission with the df2/lw items dnld for dflw . if you want a twist for your dflw mappn go toQuote:

This mod adds dozens of DF2 objects to your Land Warrior installation. We've also added more S&D Targets made from both the new objects, as well as some of the existing objects. While it should not affect your ability to play in stock servers, we always recommend installing mods in another fresh install of DF.

n/p now that im doing df2 again i remember a few yrs ago on another forum butcher sugessted to redo the vulture 3dI file to the mig for the mig to fly . but dont fear the C 130 dose what i wish so guess the daisy cutters can be dropped eh lol . im just workn out the right color fog and thickness , i have the proper spaceing for the effect . C130 is just past target when whistle sounds of bomb is sounding and then target blows :cool2: i'll be rock hounding tomarrow during day but if its not done tonight ill finish it up when i get back and then email it to you. oh iraq duder keep your head down and chem suite and equip on . im ex armoured cav scout so i feel for yall and yall are in my prayers . and so is my wife'ss friend tawny her son shawn is in quait? now waitn and probally probing iraq, he is a new generation cav scout . shawn bro keep your head down well keep the tow anti tank weapon on your hummer between you and your enemy :ar15: and if yall have to invade KILL EM ALL LET GOD SORT THEM OUTQuote:

OUH HAAA,
now you got me going, well from one military to another, I think you know Canadian Special Forces then now that it's in the news ( JTF2) that's my family. Thank you very much for your help, trust me i'll pay you back. By the way do you know how to put your own avatar below your name, I'm in computer graphic designs and created my own it is 100 pixels wide X 133 pixels high, trsut me looks pretty good, would be fun to have this like you people.:bouncing:
