Scratched CD - anywhere I can get PFFs?

To my dismay, I discovered that my Comanche 4 CD has a scratch upon it. Yes, I know I should have backed it up earlier, but in the midst of getting a new PC up and running when the old one blew up, and having to make sure it worked properly for serious applications taking priority over games as I use it as a development system, backing up C4 fell by the wayside.

Now, I can copy ALL of the files except the 4 big PFF files.

Is there anywhere online I can download these from and resurrect them?

Or do I have to go cap in hand to NovaLogic and buy a completely new C4 CD?

Personally I'd prefer not to buy a new CD all over again, because finding the one I bought was a pain in the proverbial to start with, because where I live the shops are hardly comprehensive in their game selections, mostly cater for consoles instead of PCs anyway, and thus I had to take a 50 mile round train trip to find somewhere that stocked it.

I'd prefer not to resort to EBay if I can help it, not least because of the spam phishing EMails I receive in my mailbox whilst never having had an EBay account ... I reckon they'd multiply by a factor of 10 once I actually opened an account, and I've better things to do with my time than sort out which EBay EMails are fake and which aren't.

So, any repositories out there? I don't mind waiting however long it takes to download the files if they are online, patience is one thing you learn when you're writing software ( :) ) and once I have the files I can create an ISO disc image and burn as many copies as I want, using the files that WERE intact form the original CD. It's only the 4 big PFF files that are dud (would be those that were trashed - typical).

have you checked Novalogic.com in the past year? they have all their titles for sale there.

I can you Help, I can the 4 PFF FIles Upload on my HP and you can this Download. Atention, I have the C4ExP Mod Installed on the PFF FIles, you have Direct new Terrains and Builings, Decorations and vehicles in you MED :singing:
I send you a PM when the PFF FIles Up to my HP is.
The Greates File is over 600MB Big :2ar15smilie:. I Packed this Files with Winrar, have a Better Compression.

Finally got time to visit the forums again. :)

Oh, and thanks to all who contributed to this thread. Hopefully I'l get my CD backup created, in which case I'll hopefully have an ISO file created (when I found out how to get Nero 7 to do that!). If I get an ISO created, does anyone want to host it?
