great job!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a quick moment to tell y'all something. I spent an hour last night in a " proffesional " forum that my wife and I are registered with venting my anger at the unprofessional way in wich she was treated on same forum. my wife and I got to talking about forums and business and eventually we got to talking about CPD. wich brings me to my point.
I have posted several questions and made several comments on cpd's forums and have always been treated with the upmost respect and courtesy. It's a real pleasure to be able to come here and interact with y'all and be treated like an equal human being. I just wanted to say thank you to the administration, the moderators, and the members here at checkpoint Delta for having an organization with the profesionalism, ethics, and integrity that seems to be sadly missing in so much of the world.
Y'all do an outstanding job and I'm proud to be registered with y'all
(a Group talking about video games with more integrity and human respect than a "professional organization" !! pretty cool, huh!

As the resident :butt: around here, I agree with and thank you for your kind words about the other staff and members. They make every effort to accomodate our visitors. With that said, they have a good foundation, as the owner of this site is second to none - as far a 'good people' go. ( He never visits anymore and he'll never see this - so you may take this as truth )

One thing that seperates CPD from other forums is the age of its members and staff, mostly adults, and that can make all the difference in a gaming community. You here us reference ourselves as "old farts", we mean it literally, LMAO!:spin:



Im 36 and one of the "younger" members in our squad, I'd say 50% of our 23 pilots are over 40, some over 50.

Even though it might say Admin up there the truth is I started as a regular member. I've stayed with this site pretty much for the same reasons Monkeydog states...even though I've been off on other projects I visit CPD daily. I always find exception people here and great conversation, in staff and members (mostly members:)) who make this place a pleasant and rewarding place to hang out. I don't say this for rank because outside the fancy titles CPD has always been a great down to earth place to visit.

As a staff member I am proud to serve here with my fellow staffers...as a regular member I like coming here to read and share thoughts and idea's with all.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Monkeydog....the boys try to keep it clean and respectable here......but were still boys...and have fun at it.
without the efforts of blue and charger, this site could have died a year ago, glad it didn,t lots of good gamers and squads use this resource and have from back in the old random coop days. enjoy and thanks again.
