Announcement from the new Community Marketing Manager

Dear Community Members-
I wanted to take this free moment to introduce myself to the community. I'm the new Community Marketing Manager (CCM).
In the past few days I have taken some time to learn about the community and get my feet wet with all of the issues that exist for all of you. I am aware of the major issues and I am working to correct some of the problems first hand. However, I can't do this alone. The goal is to make this community bigger, better, and stronger then any other gamming community out there. This won't be easy and in no way is this going to happen overnight, but it will happen, and I ask that you bare with me as we start to implement some new protocols and lay the groundwork for a better NovaWorld experience. Rest assured, NovaLogic has not forgotten about any of you. As the days go on you will start to see some good changes and some new concepts that I know all of you will enjoy.
Let me answer some quick issues that I have seen.
1- The JO update is coming and it's coming soon. When I have an exact date I will post it.
2- We have been spending time in the DF:X forums posting because we just released the game. In no way are we ignoring the other parts of the community. We read almost everything that is posted.
3- I know that the community is jaded right now and I apologize that you all feel this way. We are taking steps to improve the community and to make your experiences better when you come to NovaWorld.
My job is to improve the community, and while I have ADMIN status, there is a difference in the ADMIN and the Community Marketing Manager. I will be elevating the User Moderators in these forums to a higher status. They will be informed first hand from NovaLogic and they will be able to answer your questions better. If there are any issues that I need to address directly they will bring them to me and I will take care of them.
