Video tutorials

Here's a site with some good video tutorials with sound.(You must be

Maya VTMs
Lightwave

They offer these tuts on cd for free, including s/h
There's two ways of getting these. But, you can only choose one method.....not both.
1.Downloading them (fast connections only) They are not resumable! if u get up to 99.9% and loose your connection, u lose the download, and have to start alllllllll over.

2. Signing up to receive them on cd(free) They even pay the s/h

They also have some good forums, both 2d and 3d.

There's also several free 3d programs on the net, just do a search.
One free program is "Gmax"-watered down version of 3dmax (limited file output, no rendering capabilities)

There's a plugin which allows u to export in md3 format. From there it can be converted into a mainstream format-.3ds,.obj ect..... ;)

There's a good amount of vid tuts here for 3dmax, but their not in english, it still gives you a sense of where things are and what they do.
