The future of C4

After the threads the last few days, And what was said There are some things I would like to see other opinions on.

First seldem do we see more than 40 players in Nova playing at one time, Thats a bad sign. We have a small core of dedicated players. That really like this game.

If nova was to close the lobby, they already said it's not the case, What would you do ? have you made contacts in c4 you wanna still play with ?. Would you be willing to play another way besides nova's lobby.

Nova has a new forum for it's custumers, But to log in you need an account. To get the account you have to have a nova game. C4 isn't one they will let you use. What do you think about that?. You paid your money, You may have bought the game yesterday. I have a problem with that.

Joint opps is coming not to long away. It should have attack helos in it. It's not c4 but is any one looking forward to it?.


And last but not least, We have seen flaming and conduct that is just not acceptable . And while it happens in other games also. How much to you think the way the game playes affected it?. And if Nova would have fixed some of the major problems would it have made any diff?.:dance:

Keep doing it the way I am, and make a few things available to allow others to continue playing without the requiremnet of kali.

I think its sad!!! I realize now the only way to purchase C4 is in the action pack, which comes with games that will allow you to create an account. But yes I feel they have bailed on the ones that have given them there profit thus far, given those new purchasers someone to fly with, and tried to keep this game alive. I guess that is your thanks!

Not a chance with current standards of customer service!!! When nova decides to stand behind and fully support what they produce for profit and learns the difference between a project time line vs quality workmanship I may reconsider giveing them my future buisness. But with the way I have currently been treated as a customer nope.

All games have some issues, some cheats, some flaming, and some morons. Its a part of the industry and to expect it too ever be perfect is a pipe dream. I think the small size of the community and the lack of repairing what needed to be repaired caused the massive ill effects we have all seen. Yes it would have made a difference in my mind, no it would not have been perfect but it would have been alot less damaging.

Met alot good people playing this game....and would like to see it continue no matter what type of lobby it ends up in.....Im no technician for sure just a gamer and its nice too see those who have been dedicated to C4 trying to keep it alive.....hats off to you Reaper and Inso for your hard work.......thanks!

If Nova would close the lobby I would search for ways to continue playing this game. Its because I am hooked to this game.

I have made many contacts that I would like to play and I made good friends also, which I would still meet if the lobby was closed.

The first day nova opend their new forum I tried to sign up with my C4-key. I couldnt, what mad me very sad and I immediately complaint via nova support. The answer was: "This forum was made only for the newer games." I think thats BS!

I am not looking forward to buy JointOps!

Yes, I am shure it would have made a lot of different. Also I think more players would still play this game.



I know its not what u asked, but still I want to say that......


IF Nova would have fixed the no count problem (no no counts at all. A kill is a point. No kill is no point)...

IF Nova would have fixed the invisible glitch.....

IF Nova would have done something that u dont get stuck anymore....

IF Nova would change the game that it allows the Host to set his server 3h or 8h. (No matter if a 8h'er who joins a 3h server is set to 3h or if the 8h'er get a message that he has to change to 3h to join the server.)...

IF Nova would fix the game that it punishes a pilot for suiciding when he really is and not like it is working now. (I have noticed Insos statement of how it is working.)....

IF Nova would fix the efambug....

......then this great game would even be better.

Also...

IF Nova would release a new gametype like "capture the flag", so its not all to the skilled pilots who go out there and look for the kills. It would be alot more about the tactic u use. ....

IF Nova would add some new maps to this new gametype....

....and publish it all together as a addon, I would immediately go and buy it.

Nope NE that is exactly what I want to see. Players add there own coments. As for the new maps Try making some if you havent done so. It's not that hard and will give you another interest in c4.:1drink.gif:

I've been playing black hawk down for quite some time now and I'll tell you that attack Helo's wont do to good there. There are players who've been playing shooters a long time and are great at shooting moving targets out of the air with grenade launchers, rockets and to be available "stingers" Most people stay out of the Humvees and Black hawks available in the current game. You cant steer the ones in the current game but the result would be the same.

As far as loyalty to players goes, Nova is a big company and they realize one thing for sure. In games like BHD there are up to 50 players in a single server, not the whole game. The money we pay for Comanche is just as green as the money paid for the other games but they obviously dont see it that way.

Knowing the issues and arguments caused by some of the problems in the game, and the fact that version 2 basically fixed most of them, Nova could have simply released it as a patch and prevented alot of hard feelings.
Go figure.

I play BHD also, And yes I know how well they can kill the players in vecs now. I am wondering about the lag that will be there. You add player driven vecs and it's got to get worse. Your coment about the version 2 as an up date was the first thing I thought last year when I knew there was 1.
