Passive problem

When ever I serve for C4 my stingers won't hunt passively. Anybody else run
into the PIAN????

Check the following lines in the c4.cfg file.


allow_autotargeting = 1

AltLock = 1
AltLockType = 1

Does 8h have a diff radar/heat sig than 3h?

If so that could answer alot.

Yes I have checked those setting that you have mentioned
They are the same as what you have posted Bane.
Would you recommend that I changed them??:dance:

I'd start by eliminating the possibilitys.

Rename the c4.cfg then launch the game.

If you still have the problem rename the c4plyr.sav

If that don't work. reinstall or do a parralell install.

If the problem still exist :joystick.gif: you might have gremlins.

I have had that EXACT problem, it is a program glitch, usually only happens when you serve and play, also when sys resources are low when you start the server, something to do with the fact that serve-play player has no lag, joining people do, server blames clients for the lag, it sometimes puts their connection just out of faze with the others, can be killed with a lock but passive wont work at all...... I restarted pc and started dedicated server and hasn't happened again.....

be based on a hardware issue.Given the amount of different con-
figurations people use in these game.I will try your recommend-
ations Bane. I know this when it come's using a joystick with a
serial port connection, forget it no can do.:dance:

Have had same problem also , I always wondered why it does that. Even reinstalled but still no luck..
