AE has issues .......

Well umm...... what can I say other then doh!!!! :stupid2: Im guessin I win a nomination for the darwin award at the very least.
btw for those of you unware, its good for a laugh! Darwin Awards Ok ok sheesh. Tonight working on some things with Bluetiereign we discovered that AE seems to have an issue with something. This is a bit of a stretch still at the momment as I have not narrowed down the problem or the cause, but thought I should get notice out asap.


The orginal cause for testing was that we suspected AE was not checking any players past the 9th one on his pc.
The following Conditions were used:
Windows XP Home, AMD processor, the NoCD patch from CPD V.15
Novaworld server / TDM / 11 player

Bluetiereign hosted/Played, Blue then joined with a second player(the same pc), I joined 9 more players on 3 boxes, the first 7 were all 3h players, the 8th and 9th were 8h players. There was no response from AE the 8h helo's flew and played as normal. Blue then exited his second player and once he did, AE kicked in and the 8h players were killed. Blue then rejoined his second player and AE stopped responding again. Once he exited again, AE kicked right back in again. ummm............

If you have any time test this out and please post your results and conditions here as it will help speed up the process of fixing this issue.

Further testing has proven that the problem was not with AE or XP - but with an ancient install of C4. File corruption was the cause of the problem and a reinstall corrected it.

My sincere apologies to Inso for the false alarm.
