Demo Problem

I downloaded the Comanche 4 demo from www.PCZone.co.uk after the installation set-up it gave me the error message 'isset_se' saying that there was a problem with the program, this occured with both the multiplayer demo and the single player and i was wondering if anyone has any tips, and if it would be worth buying the game if this was going to be similar?

You may have a corrupt down load. But I'd buy it. C4 has good single player missions, There are good map editors to make new ones. And the members here can offer a lot of help. You can play the multi Player over novaworld it has death match, Team death match and players often serve CO OP games. There is a small group of squads you can join to play after you learn the game.You didn't say what your PC specs were. But C4 is often used as a bench mark game now to test vid cards and systems.

You don't think that the problem will be with my system and so be the same in the retail version?

You need to list your pc specs for any one to answer that. I have no idea what your system is. But If you are running a set up that meets the system reqs. Then the problem is likley in the down load. Or mabe the demo didn't install right. There isn't enough information here to anwser that

any probs with this? cheers for anyhelp but i have ran the demo MP and Sp installs more than once and it's the same, the game looks greate but i dont fancy buying it only for it not to work

You have plenty of system for C4. I am wondering if it's the down load. Try nova instead. before you install again make sure you deleat the C4 folder. heres the addy http://www.novalogic.com/downloads.asp

Play some single player before you start multi player. When your new its kind of tough. there is some multi play help here
